DYBB has made remarkable progress in supporting vulnerable, underprivileged and at risk children. The achievements were seen in the form of welfare, economic , social psycho/skills, technical skills and education.
On the psycho-social side the children have built good relationships with each other and the local community . As part of social responsibility children do community based services for local old people. Other services were building or repairing huts, collecting water and sweeping the compounds . The community has a positive attitude towards the children .They have learnt to earn money through work and not through pick pocketing .Children performed concerts and gained exposure to other parts of the country. They felt valued and confident about future prospects and were admired by other street children, orphans and others in the community.
